Network 81 is a charity that supports, advises and trains parents and carers about the
education of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Aims
- To improve the life chances of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
- To support parents and carers offering unbiased advice and providing training on all matters regarding the education of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
- To raise awareness and publicise good practice in the education of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
- To offer support to other voluntary groups and professionals through training and provision of information and advice
Practice
- We give practical advice and advocacy via our helpline on any education/school issue
- We provide training courses for parents, which cover SEN and
Disability laws and guidelines.
- We campaign through meeting with many groups for properly resourced education
Our objective
We are working to help children and young people through our helpline, advocacy and comprehensive training for teachers, parents, carers, SENCOs, social workers,
therapists, local authority education officers, charity workers and volunteers.
